Indication: Scabies
Administration: Ideally, the person should bathe in hot water and soap themselves, liberally with lotion paying particular attention to the folded areas of the skin. After bathing, the body should be allowed to dry naturally or dried with a towel using a 'blotting' action.
Adult Dose: Topical Prophylaxis of scabies Lotion should be used daily for as long as the danger of infection remains.
Contraindication: Patients who have previously shown an idiosyncratic response to its application.
Mode of Action: Monosulfiram, is an ectoparasiticide used in the treatment and prevention of scabies.
Side Effect: Cases of erythematous rash have been reported.
