Do not chew, crush or break it. Suzyme 325 is to be taken with food. How Suzyme 325 works: Pancreatin is a pancreatic enzyme supplement. It mixes thoroughly with food and helps in digestion. What if you forget to take Suzyme 325?: If you miss a dose of Suzyme 325, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose. Indication: Pancreatic insufficiency Adult Dose: Oral Pancreatic insufficiency Adult: PO 1-3 tablets daily with meal. Contraindication: Acute pancreatitis or acute exacerbation of chronic pancreatic disease. Mode of Action: Pancreatin are pancreatic enzymes which hydrolyse fats to glycerol and fatty acids, break down protein into peptides, proteoses and derived substances, and convert starch into dextrins and sugars.
