However, it cannot treat an acute attack and will only work to prevent migraines for as long as you continue to take the medicine. This medicine relaxes the brain, preventing migraine headache. Norium 10 may be taken with or without food. However, it is advised to take it at the same time each day as this helps to maintain a consistent level of medicine in the body. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Norium 10 may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time. How Norium 10 works: Migraine headaches are thought to result from the dilatation of blood vessels in the head. Norium 10 works by preventing loss of tone and dilation of blood vessels, thus preventing the migraine headache.
