Introduction: Iriban SR is a prescription medicine used to treat and relieve symptoms of irritable bowel syndrome such as stomach pain and spasm, cramps in the abdomen, gas, bloating and changes in bowel habits. This medicine relaxes muscles of the intestine and relieves spasm. Iriban SR should be taken in a dose and duration as advised by your doctor. It is swallowed whole with a drink of water preferably 20 minutes before a meal to relieve or reduce post meal symptoms. Let your doctor know about all other medications you are taking as some may affect, or be affected by this... Uses of Iriban SR: Irritable bowel syndrome Side effects of Iriban SR: Skin rash How to use Iriban SR: Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Iriban SR is to be taken empty stomach. How Iriban SR works: Iriban SR relaxes the muscles of the intestine and relieves spasm. What if you forget to take Iriban SR?: If you miss a dose of Iriban SR, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose. Indication: Irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), GI tract spasm Adult Dose: Oral Irritable bowel syndrome; Gastrointestinal tract spasm Adult: Tablet 135 mg tid, may reduce gradually after several wk when the desired effect has been obtained; As modified-release Capsule: 200 mg bid.
